Great clean tones from this amp and lots of dating dr z amps. Mine had reverb which was really nice but that 3 knob Z-verb looks killer. My main problem with the Maz was that it was just a little too clean for what I needed I ended up getting a Carmen Ghia the Z that I had originally wanted and it was exactly what I was looking for.
It looks like a practice amp or something with only 2 knobs and no standby switch but it is a seriously awesome tone machine. Great comments, thanks.
I had thought the same thing about the Maz 38 that is might be too much for my use. I am also considering the Ghia as it seems to be a great amp as well. Two knobs does seem like it would be rather limited in today's age of amps with numerous knobs.
Here is a link to the best Dr. Z Ghia demo that I have found on the web.

No matter what I get, I am pretty sure that the Z-verb will be in the solution. I may likely start with the Z-verb as I can use it with my vintage tweed Alamo amps with now Hey, I guess if that is my only worry right now, then life is pretty good.
It seems as though all the online dealers have the prices the same as on the Dr. PM me since I believe that pricing is against the forum rules to post. So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbor.
Catch the trade winds in your sails.
